Arrowmont Re-Cap : Cyanotypes on Fabric

I recently finished the fall workstudy program at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. The basic exchange is 4 weeks of work for 4 weeks of classes.

Here's the start of some little summaries of all the classes I took:

1) Cyanotypes on Fabric with Amie Adelman

My favorite process ended up being this -- folding the fabric up and pressing under a piece of glass. The effect has so much depth and texture!

This class was so fun! I had some cyanotype knowledge beforehand but had never learned the process of adding dye to cyanotypes.
